OGDEN - Mrs. Charlotte (Lottie) Fox Seaman, 78, native Salt Laker and former Bountiful school teacher, died Monday in an Ogden hospital after an extended illness.

She was born Jne 22, 1873, a daughter of Jesse W. and Sarah E. Foss Fox. She attended Salt Lake City schools and was graduated from the University of Deseret in 1890. She taught school in Bountiful five years prior to her marriage.

On Feb. 20, 1896, she was married to George A. Seaman in the Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They made their home in Bountiful, Morgan, and Abraham, Millard County, before coming to Ogden in 1921. Seven years later, the moved to Salt Lake City and lived there one year returning then to Ogden, where she resided until her death.

Mrs. Seaman was active in the Church as a member of the Eleventh Ward in Salt Lake City, and the Fifth Ward in Ogden. She also was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and a member of Wedgewood Camp No 1, Spanish American War Veterans Auxillary, Salt Lake City.

She is survived by her husband at 2645 Madison Ave; five sons, George A., John F., and Dale F. Seaman, all of Ogden and J. Gordon and Elliott F. Seaman, both of Salt Lake City, four daughters, Mrs. Wayne K. Worton, Ogden, Mrs. W. J. Huff, Rosemead, Calif., Mrs. David carr, Harrisville, Weber County, and Mrs. Harry W. Stuart, Sacramento, Calif.; 19 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Lindquist and Sons' Mortuary chapel.
Friends may call at the place of services Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Wedndesday prior to the funeral. Burial will be in Ogden City Cemetery.
