Wilmer R. Huebner, 79, Huebner Rd., Forest Junction, died unexpectedly Sunday, Nov. 6, 1988, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton.
He was born Sept. 12, 1909, in the town of Brillion, son of the late Reinhold and Selma (Stanelle) Huebner. He married Lillie Schuler Oct. 5, 1932 in Waukegan, IL. He farmed in the town of Brillion, retiring in 1969 when he moved to Forest Junction. He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church, Forest Junction.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie; three daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Carl Boesch, rural Hilbert; Diana and Clayton Schaffer, Combines Locks; Dawne and Michael Mathis, Marietta, GA; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Aspenna Eggert, Milwaukee; Frances Krueger, Brillion; Sula Kreiman, rural Brillion; Lucille and Harold Reichardt, Reedsville; and a brother and sister-in-law, Arthur and Helen Huebner, Park Falls. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, a sister, and three brothers.
The funeral service was held at Zion United Methodist Church, Forest Junction, the Rev. Forrest Wells officiated. Burial was in the Brillion Community Cemetery.
