Jerome "Jerry" Reidy, age 86, formerly of Brillion, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2007, at Calumet Medical Center in Chilton.

He was born on Nov. 10, 1920, in Maple Grove, son of the late Jeremiah and Elizabeth (Cohen) Reidy. On June 10, 1951, he married Hildegard Jandrey. She preceded him in death on Nov. 16, 1981. He then married Bernice (Lawrenz) Dobberpuhl on May 17, 1986. He worked at the Brillion Iron Works for 33 years retiring in 1983. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion.

Survivors include his wife: Bernice; one son: Gary (Dori) Reidy of Brillion; three grandchildren: Amber, Jason and Casey Reidy; a stepdaughter: Ruthann (Duane) Duescher of Portland, Mich.; a stepgrandson: Timothy (Jennifer) Duescher of Two Rivers; a step-great-grandson: Noah Duescher; three sisters: Elizabeth (Bernard) Fronk of Two Rivers; Anastasia Stedl of Reedsville; and Margaret Clumpner of Chicago, Ill.; two brothers: Patrick Reidy of Middleton and Charles Reidy of Green Bay. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Rosemary Curran and Claire Reidy; one brother: Martin Reidy; two brothers-in-law: Raymond Stedl and Howard Clumpner.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 15, 2007, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. The Rev. Matt Simonar will officiate. Burial will be held in the Brillion Community Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and then at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. There will be a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday evening at the funeral home.
