Corrine Goins Lambert, age 91, went to be with her Lord at 7:42 a.m. on August 31, 2012.

Mrs. Lambert was born July 4, 1921 in Georgetown County, the widow of Cleveland Lambert, and the daughter of the late Fred Madrick Goins and Annie Mitchum Goins. She attended the Georgetown Church of God.

A loving mother, she leaves behind 5 sons, Ervin E. Lambert, Fred D. Lambert (Anne), Michael Lambert, Jack R. Lambert (Imogene), and Tony L. Lambert (Deborah), and 3 daughters, Grace Teeters, Alice Flowers (Robert D.), and Annie Lou Baxley (Daniel); 29 grandchildren; and a brother, Rev. John Goins.

Mrs. Lambert was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Lambert, and a daughter Elizabeth Johnson;and five brothers, Reuben Goins, Horace Goins, David Goins, Clifton Goins and Fred Goins; and three sisters, Vertie Small, Inez Lambert, and Mary Eaddy.

The family will receive friends from 5 -7 PM on Saturday at the Georgetown Church of God.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, September 2, 2012 at the Georgetown Church of God with the Bishop Ossie O. Deese officiating. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.

The Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
