Sarah Alice "Alice" Elliott Williams was born May 27, 1863 in McDowell County, North Carolina and was the daughter of John Gibbs Elliott and Elizabeth Swann Elliott.
She married Thomas G. Williams on August 22, 1880 in McDowell County, North Carolina.
Alice and Thomas had seven known children: Nora, Hattie, John Marvin, Joseph Edgar, Luther Grayson (Joseph & Luther were twins), Dora Alice and Thomas Roy.
Alice died June 29, 1898 from child birth complications. She died seven days after giving birth to Thomas Roy.
