Aloysius T. Schmidlkofer, 58, formerly of Chilton, who was a resident of Calumet Homestead Nursing Home, New Holstein, for the past five months, died at 12:40 p.m. Tuesday at University Hospital, Madison.
He was born in Chilton in 1912,.a son of Joseph and Mary Steffes Schmidlkofer. He attended St. Mary's Parochial School at Chilton and Chilton High School. He was employed as a surveyor for the U. S. Government.
Survivors include four sons, Gerald and Joseph both of Chilton, Allan of New Holstein and LeRoy of Kaukauna; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Vincent Gage of Marathon and Mrs. Ted Schaumann of Milwaukee; and a brother, Hubert Jr of Route 3, Chilton.
Funeral services will be held of 10:30 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Chilton, and at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Chilton. The Rev. James Vennix will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
