Robert Lyle Dickinson of Flagstaff, Arizona, died January 6, 1985 at his home after a long illness.

Born November 6, 1945 in Bay City, Michigan, he was the son of Wesley and Laura (Brenay) Dickinson. He married Kathleen Brewer in San Francisco, California on Oct 14, 1967.

He grew up in the Phoenix area and attended Peoria High School. He entered the U.S. Navy in 1965 and served aboard the U.S.S. Montrose APA-212 for four years, spending one year in Vietnam.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles Wesley Dickinson.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Dickinson; a son, Robert William Dickinson; a daughter, Bonnie Lynn Dickinson, four brothers, David Dickinson and wife Mary Ann of Dobbins, California, Daniel Dickinson and wife Ellen of Gravette, Arkansas, William Dickinson and wife Kathryn of Gravette, Arkansas, Phillip Dickinson and wife Sherry of Phoenix, Arizona; and three sisters, Charlene Smith and husband Norman of Gravette, Arkansas, Phyllis Doyle and husband Richard of Gravette, Arkansas, and Donna Gardei and husband Bill of Chandler, Arizona.

Burial will be in Citizens Cemetery, Flagstaff, Arizona.
