Nick Lewis Dibuono, Sr. passed away at his home in Denham Springs, LA on Friday, August 31, 2012 at the age of 71. He was born on June 26, 1941 to Joseph Dibuono and Catherine Calato Dibuono Venezia. Beloved husband of Octavia Lamonte Dibuono and the late Annie "Ocie" Dibuono. Devoted father of Nick Lewis Dibuono, Jr. (Tracey), Cheryl Dibuono Sasser (Michael), Julie Dibuono Green (John) and Michele Dibuono Canepa (Stanley). Also, step-father of Arthur Marquez, Jr. (Jen) and Brian Marquez (Maureen). A much loved grandfather of Cody Swafford, Jessica Dibuono, Joshua Dibuono, Allison Sasser, David Sasser, Katie Green, Nicholas Green, Cade Canepa and Callie Canepa. Step-grandfather of Alyssa and Jake Williamson and Cara, Regan and Addie Marquez. Brother of Sal Dibuono, Rita Lapour and the late Mary Miller.
Nick was a lifelong resident of Chalmette, LA and moved to Denham Springs following Hurricane Katrina. He served in the US Navy and was an employee of Murphy Oil in Meraux, LA until his retirement in 2001.
