Carl Franklin Walker, 77, of 3609 Carl Allred Rd., Franklinville, died Sunday, September 2, 2012 at his home.

Funeral Services, 2 PM, Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at Whites Memorial Baptist Church, Franklinville.

Officiating, Rev. Jeff Joyce, Rev. Jr. Hannig.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.

Carl was a native of Randolph County, retired co-owner & Operator of Interior Enterprizes, an Army Veteran and a member of the Whites Memorial Baptist Church. He was an avid sports enthusiast and coached youth sports teams for many years in the Whites Memorial area. In recent years Carl enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at Hide Away farm.

Survivors: wife, Frances Cook Walker, of the home, daughter, Cynthia Ferree, and husband, Charles, of Asheboro, son, Tim Walker, and wife, Lakuita, of Franklinville, sister, Elsie W. Johnson, of Archdale, grandchildren, Sandra Ferree, Kevin Walker, Keith Walker, Blake Ferree, and his faithful dog, Toby.

Visitation, 6 PM to 8 PM, Tuesday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur, other times at the residence.
