Vera Pearl Hamaker
Vera Pearl Hamaker, daughter of William and Lilly Hamilton, was born Dec. 22, 1893, in Ainswirth, Nebraska.
She was married to George William Hamaker on Sep. 18, 1911, and passed away on Oct.24, 1960, in Valentine, Nebraska, after an extended Illness.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, and ten children. Mrs. Lilly McDaniel, Mrs. Erwin (Pearl) Buxton, Lester Hamilton, Mrs. Dewey (Vivienne) Gowan, Mrs. Ronald (Eva) Adair, Mrs, Narvin (Iva Fern) Waters, Frank Hamaker, Roy Hamaker, Donald Hamaker and Mrs. John (Bessie) Orr.
Three sisters, Mrs. Floyd (Violet) Cardwell, Mrs. Charles (Clover) Conklin, and Mrs. Fred (Nellie) Miles; two brothers, Lyle Hamilton and Joy Hamilton.
thirty -seven grandchildren, one step=granddaughter, and 25 great grandchildren, also survive.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Keith, Ronald, and Leonard; one grandson, who was killed in service; her parents and six brothers.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday from Watts Funeral Home in Valentine with burial at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
All of Mrs. Hamaker's children with the exception of Frank were here to attend last rites.
