"A.E. Jones Died Suddenly Tuesday Night. Mr. Albert Ernest Jnes [sic], aged 54 years, passed away quietly at his home at Cabin Creek, Md., about 8 o'clock p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, 1936. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Albert Jones, one sister, Mrs. Charles Marshall, St. Michaels, Md., and ten children: Mrs. James Richardson, of Cambridge; Mr. George C. Jones, Mt. Hayes, Md.; Mrs. Paul Cohen, State Sanatorium, Md.; Mrs. Sanson C. Patterson, Pueblo, Colorado; Miss Myra Jones, Towson, Md.; Mrs. Leon McNeal, Federalsburg, Md.; Miss Emmalyn, Miriam [sic], Rodger [sic], Orville, all at home, and four grandchildren. Christmas Day he returned home after a very successful operation in Baltimore, happy and content to be with his family again. His death, apparently from some heart disturbance, came as an extreme shock to all. He was a gentle, kind father and loving husband, beloved by all who knew him." Funeral: Saturday Jan. 2.
