Mary J. Adams, 94, formerly of Williamstown, died Sunday, November 9, at the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, Pottsville.
Born at Clarks Valley, February 12, 1909, she was a daughter of the late James and Florence Hatter Adams.
She was a retired seamstress from the former Bestok Garment Factory.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Tower City and its women's' club.
Surviving are a brother, Marlin Adams of Williamstown; three sisters, Maude Morgan of Hegins, Helen Hudsinus and Vera Adams, both of New Jersey; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 13, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Dimon Funeral Homes, Inc., Tower City, with the Rev. Linda Bonfiglio officiating. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Tower City. Viewing will be from 10-11 a.m. in the chapel.
Memorial donations may be made to her church, 449 E. Grand Ave., Tower City PA 17980. Dimon Funeral Homes, Inc., Tower City, is in charge of arrangements.
