Norma, affectionately known as Dolly, was born June 23, 1934 in Youngstown, a daughter of Charles and Cloyd (Emery) Rosenberger. She lived most of her life in Struthers.
Dolly was a 1952 graduate of Struthers High School and graduated from Youngstown College of Business with an accounting degree in 1980. She was a bookkeeper for various businesses including Youngstown Sheet & Tube, Hills Department Store, Big Lots, and IGA.
Dolly was a member of Faith Community Church and a former member of Struthers Presbyterian Church and Christ Lutheran Church. She was past president of the Struthers PTA and member and treasurer of the Struthers Band Boosters.
Her husband Richard Clyde Schell, whom she married May 4, 1954, died December 30, 1970. Dolly left her daughter, Linda Schell of Boardman; her son, Daniel R. (Grace) Schell of Fountain, Colorado; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and her dear friend, Ralph Heberling.
Besides her parents and husband, Dolly was preceded in death by five brothers, Ralph, Donald, Roy, Charles and Frederick Rosenberger; and two sisters, Betty Elgin and Faye Worrel.
Services were held Saturday 10:00 a.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers, with Pastors Richard and William Samuels officiating. Interment was in Lake Park Cemetery.
