"..son of William and Margaret Aseltine Emery; married first Hannah Bruce Coolidge (born in Peru, NY and died in Schuyler Falls, NY Oct 30, 1872.) Second, in Morrisonville, NY, Mrs Lucette Weston, widow of Rev. Z. Weston of Plattsburgh, NY (died 1888) . Ordained minister Methodist Episcopal Church at Keeseville, NY, May 31, 1846."

Hurd's History of Clinton and Franklin says Hannah Bruce Coolidge was from Jay, NY.

The couple had:
Richard Hurlburt b 29 Mar 1833 in Swanton, Vt.
Caroline M., d @ 5 years of age, 26 June 1840
3 infants died young
Sanford H. d @ years of age, 17 Sept 1862.

The following is from the book "History of Clinton and Franklin Counties, New York" under the biographical for their son, Richard Hurlburt Emery. "... His father, Rev. Theophilus Mansfield Emery, a local preacher in the Methodist Episcopal Church, was also born in Swanton, March 6, 1808. His mother, Hannah (Bruce) Emery, was born May 20, 1814, in Jay, Essex Co., N. Y. The date of their marriage was May 10, 1832, in Keeseville, N. Y. They commenced housekeeping on a farm in Swanton, Vt., where they remained two years, when they removed to Schuyler Falls, in the west part of which town Mr. Emery had purchased a farm. In their latter years another son was born to them, who lived eight years.
After his wife's death, which occurred Oct. 30, 1872, after an illness of seven weeks, he sold his farm, and found a home with his son, Richard, until his second marriage, Nov. 3, 1875, with Mrs. Lusette Weston, widow of Z. N. Weston, of Morrisonville, N. Y., at which place they now reside. ..."
