Theodore J. Delikat, 61, of Nicholson Street, Wilkes-Barre Twp., died Friday morning at Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.
He was born in Wilkes-Barre, August 11, 1943, a son of Lottie Chmiel Delikat of Wilkes-Barre Twp., and the late Theodore Delikat. He was a graduate of Wilkes-Barre Township High School, Class of 1961, and a graduate of the Wilkes-Barre Business College. Mr. Delikat owned and operated Delikat's Painting for many years prior to his retirement. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Wilkes-Barre Twp.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife of 40 years, the former Renee Solonski; daughters, Amanda Picketts, and her husband, David, Wilkes-Barre Twp.; Amy O'Hara, and her husband, John, Charlotte, NC; granddaughter, Avery Picketts; grandson, Quinnlin Matthew O'Hara; sister, Marjorie Dreier, Wilkes-Barre Twp.; nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday morning at 9:30 in St. Joseph's Church, 783 East Northampton Street, Wilkes-Barre Twp., with Rev. Joseph Orloski, officiating. Private interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Bear Creek. Friends are asked to gather on Monday morning at the Church.
There will be no public calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, may be made to the SPCA of Luzerne County, 524 East Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, Pa., 18702.
