Cleveland, died Saturday at the Cleveland Clinic Hospice Unit at the
Corinthian Nursing Home in Westlake. He was 66.
Mr. Ackerman was born in Avon and he graduated from Avon High School.
He served in the Army from 1953 to 1958. Mr. Ackerman also was a member of
Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7035.
Mr. Ackerman was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and he enjoyed
farming and working crossword puzzles.
Survivors include his brothers, Jim of Charlotte, N.C., Ted and Tom, both
of North Ridgeville; and a sister, Frances Jean Fischback of Rocky River.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 33601
Detroit Rd., Avon. Arrangements are by Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel of
Avon.
