Betty Bivens Raines, 84, of Daleville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 5, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norma Victoria Deeds Bivens and Masten Harve Bivens; a brother, Harvey Bivens Jr.; stepson, Richard L. Raines; and her husband, Lacy Gordon Raines, on August 24, 2012. Surviving are her step daughter, Vickie Wills; sister- in-law, Lillian Bivens; nephew, Robert Bivens and wife, Kris, of Roanoke; nieces, Sherry Milburn and husband, David, Vicki Hinerman and husband, Ted, and Betty Reed and husband, David, all of Hinton, W.Va.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2012, in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens by Pastor Ben Peyton.
