Billy Joe Money age 36 of Middlesboro, KY. Passed away suddenly Thursday June 3, 2004 while visiting his sister. Billy lived in Middlesboro most of his live, he attended Middlesboro High School and was of the Pentecostal Faith
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Lucy and Charlie Money of Middlesboro. Cora and Ray Shaffner of Fries, VA. Special cousin Mark Davis of Middlesboro and special brother-in-law Dawayne Cordell of Barbourville.
Billy was born in Huntington, WVA, February 18, 1968. He is survived by his soul mate Devona Deaton and son Daniel. Also one daughter Rachel Money, Lexington, KY, one step-daughter Jennifer Hatfield and step-son Derek Hatfield both of Middlesboro, KY. Billy had one granddaughter Tegan Hatfield of Middlesboro. He is also survived by his loving parents Bob and Sue Money, Danielsville, GA, sister and brother -in-law Crystal and Todd Adkins of Middlesboro. Three brothers Bobby Money, Middlesboro, KY, Larry Baise, Chesapeake, OH, and Harold Baise of Clearwater Beach, FL, one step-brother Doug Baise, Chesapeake, OH. Billy was loved by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew him.
Funeral services will be held 2 pm Sunday June 6th at Shumate Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Terry and James Hagerman officiating. Music by Millers Chapel Singers. Burial will follow in the Money Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Saturday at Shumate Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be John Money, Michael Hendrickson, Michael Harrell, Paul Harrell, Brandon Smith, and Todd Adkins.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Weeble Wright, Scott Grubbs, Tony Reeves, Kenny Poole and Jack Goins
