Steve was a lifelong resident of Neosho and employed as an over-the-road truck driver for 45 years. He was also a life member of VFW #4142; Neosho.
Steve married Dolorse "Dee" Jayne, and she survives. He is also preceded in death by a sister; Kathy Reed. Steve is survived by a daughter; Sherrie Smith, Cedar Park, TX; a brother; Jim Murray, Joplin, MO; a sister; Eline Dale, Granby, MO; 2 grandchildren; Megan Vardo and Truitt Smith.
