Watson Tolar "WT" "Watty" Bunch, a resident of Greenwell Springs, passed away peacefully in his home on September 5, 2012 after a short battle with Cancer at the age of 79 years old. He was surrounded by family and friends.

He was a member of Bluff Creek Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the National Rifle Association. He retired with 27 years of service from the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Department. He served as a Lieutenant at the first Central Sheriff Sub-station. He was the owner of "Bunch's" Trailer Park, located in Greenwell Springs, LA. He also was the owner of "The Rebel Hut" for Central Private School for many years. He enjoyed spending time hunting and traveling in the mountains of Montana. He truly enjoyed life and loved his family and friends. He will be remembered as a strong man, great dad and wonderful grandfather, mentor and friend. He loved to hunt, fish, cook, and tell stories, all which he did to perfection, leaving a lasting impression.

He is survived by his two daughters, Lisa Bunch Collier and husband Van "Rip" of Central, Tara Bunch LeBlanc and husband Randy of Denham Springs. Grandchildren are Casey Collier Brown and husband Brian of Baton Rouge, Colby Collier and fiancé' Kaeila Nichols of Greenwell Springs, Logan LeBlanc, U. S. Marine stationed in North Carolina and granddaughter Leah Leblanc of Denham Springs, one great grandchild, Kyleigh Brown of Baton Rouge, a brother, Carl Bunch and wife Betty Jo, sister-in-law Ginger Bunch of Clinton, his cousin and dear friend, James Summers and wife Harriet of Central, many nieces and nephews. His home was filled with love and laughter and he became known as "Paw" to many and will be missed by Chad and Cade Felps, Jamie and Adam Lea, Anna Lea Booth, Victoria, Blake and Abbey McCulley, Frank Rusciano, Jessie Deshotel, and Jordan Deshotel his God Child, two special great grandchildren, Braelyn Felps and Aiden Riley.

He is preceded in death by his wife and the love of his life for 50 years, Sybil Simmons Bunch, his parents, Tash and Laura Rogers Bunch, three brothers, George, Jerry and Harry Bunch.

Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, LA and will resume at Bluff Creek Baptist Church, Clinton LA until religious services, conducted by his dear friend, Rev. Betty McCarver. Burial in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be "His boys".

Special Thanks to Generation Hospice staff. In lieu of flowers the family ask donations be made to the Bluff Creek Methodist Church or a charity of choice.
