Leonard O. Turner, 54, Milwaukee, a former resident of Wisconsin Rapids, died unexpectedly Saturday evening at his cottage on Wood Lake, near Coloma. Death was due to a heart seizure. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at the Ritter Funeral Home in Milwaukee with burial to take place there. The son of Mr. and Mrs. John Turner was born at Ingram, Wis., Aug. 5, 1907. His marriage to the former Naopia Ticknor of Wisconsin Rapids, took place Feb. 3. 1929. He is survived by his wife, a son Donald L. Turner, California; a brother, Ralph Turner, Biron, and two sisters, Mrs. Harry Cummings, Wisconsin Rapids, and Mrs. Elmer Abel, Vesper. Mr. Turner was an assistant manager for the Bell Telephone Co. in Milwaukee.
