Mrs. Bernal was born in Simpson, Pennsylvania on January 26, 1940 and moved here in 1993 from Smithtown, New York. She was a homemaker and member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #7991. She is survived by her husband, John Bernal, her son, Douglas J. Bernal of Bellport, NY, her mother, Julia Batinsey of E. Berlin, PA, her brother, Thomas (Susan) Batinsey of E. Berlin, PA and two grandchildren, Gabriel & Sabrina Bernal. Private cremation arrangements are under the care of Roberts Funeral Home, Dunnellon.
