Gerry was a devout Catholic and a member of All Saints Catholic Church where she was very active with the parish festival. She was involved in the Rosary Society, Ladies Guild, St. Francis Guild, the Seniors Nutrition Program, Am Vets Auxiliary in Point Place and loved to play cards. “Jerry” was a member of the building committee for the Rossford Recreation Center. She was preceded by her husband, Constantine Mierzejewski, on January 24, 1973 and her daughter in-law, Joanne Mierzejewski.
Surviving are her children, James (Linda), Jan, Jeffrey (Dorothy) and Constance Mierzejewski; grandchildren, John Andrew (Sue) Mierzejewski, Sherry (Mel) Prater and Chrissa (Jason) Liskai; sister, Barbara (Rogier) Reneaux; brother in-law, Adolphe (Martha) Mierzejewski and sister in-law, Virginia (Roland) Herdter. Also surviving are eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her friends at the Rossford Senior Nutrition, Charles Crest Apartments and her dear friend, Louise Nawrocki.
Visitation was held at the Sujkowski Funeral Home of Rossford. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at All Saints Catholic Church, followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery.
