She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Her main interest was her children, she was always there for them. She loved to cook and for years she would make pies for the café in Gunnison and for parties. She also made beautiful rugs. She participated in many activities in school and church. She was a primary teacher for many years and the children all loved her. She was also a visiting teacher for many years. She was a compassionate person and took meals or bread to people when they were sick.
She is survived by her three children Patricia, Robert and Larry. One grandchild and four great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Rosemary Zola Beemus; sisters Bertha Olsen and Jamie Jackson, brothers Alfred and Soren Larson.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday September 12, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Mt. Pleasant Stake Center (461 N 300 W) with viewing preceding from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Interment in the Spring City Cemetery.
