Margaret E. Lensmeyer, age 77, of 9312 Cherney Road, Whitelaw, died Wednesday morning, July 16, 2003 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Dialysis Center, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be held at 10:15 a.m. at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Kellnersville and 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kellnersville. Monsignor Robert Gulig will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial, with Sister Marlene Greatens as homilist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Margaret was born Oct. 6, 1925 in the town of Franklin, daughter of the late Peter and Pearl Brennan Falvey. She was a graduate of St. Patrick Grade School in Maple Grove and DePere East High School in 1943. On July 19, 1947, Margaret was married to Frank Lensmeyer at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Maple Grove. The couple farmed all their married life in the town of Franklihn. Frank preceded her in death on March 11, 1995. During her life Margaret was full of Irish wit and wisdom. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Joseph Rosary Society.
Margaret was a loving mother of four children: Jim Lensmeyer of Waverly, Iowa; Jeff and Ruth Lensmeyer of rural Manitowoc; Lois Lensmeyer of DePere; Lynnette and Rick Walt of Whitelaw; loving grandmother of 10 grandchildren: Jill and Brian Brey; Joe Lensmeyer; Davi Ann Mueller; Lance Mueller; Sara Walt; Curtis Walt; Brian Walt; Scott Lensmyer; Beth Lensmyer and Cody Lensmeyer and great grandchildren; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Marie and Jerry Dugan of Cato; Helen Meyer of Manitowoc; four sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law: Genrose Falvey of Manitowoc; Viola Lensmeyer of Manitowoc; Geraldine and Edward Touhey of Manitowoc; Catherine Lensmeyer of Green Bay; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank; one granddaughter, Christine Lensmeyer; and three brothers, Leo, Leland and William Falvey.
Relatives and friends may call at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Kellnersville on Sunday from 4 until 8 p.m. and one Monday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 10:15 a.m. There will be parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Sunday led by Sister Marlene Greatens.
