Major League Baseball Player. Born in Celina, Ohio, he was a shortstop making his debut with the Detroit Tigers on September 24, 1931. For six seasons, he played with the Detroit Tigers (1921, 1925-28) and Cleveland Indians in 1929. He ended his career with 543 hits, 13 home runs, 254 runs scored, 243 runs batted in and a .255 batting average. He at age 71 in Fort Worth, Texas.
