Note: William was born as William Smith Hiddle. His brother John Smith Hiddle and sister Isabella Smith Hiddle all came to the Southern States of America, mainly Mobile, AL and New Orleans LA. They changed their names (reversed them) to William Hiddle Smith, John Hiddle Smith and Isabella Hiddle Smith. John and Isabella are buried in New Orleans. William lived and worked in New Orleans and retires to San Pedro, CA.
