She married James Clarida on December 18, 1894. They did not have any children but in 1907 they took Trillie's niece, Iva Edith Mattingly to raise as their own after her mother died 10 days after she was born.
Trillie and Jim moved back to her parents home in 1930 to take care of her ailing mother who passed away in 1931. They continuted to live with her father and Jim passed away in 1937. Trillie lived with her dad until he passed away in 1941. She was living with her nephew Wilmer and his wife Artie when she passed away on Decemeber 10, 1968.
