Margaret Frances LaVal, 80, a retired secretary-bookkeeper, passed away Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004, in Arlington.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, 5819 W. Pleasant Ridge Road, Arlington. Burial: 3 p.m. in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington; a prayer vigil will begin at 7 p.m.
Margaret was born Sept. 10, 1924, in Caldwell, to Victor and Hattie Hajovsky. She was a member of the Senior Citizen Ukulele Band. Margaret was an artist who enjoyed music, painting and sculpture. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent LaVal, who passed away in April of this year.
