James R. Hodge, M.D., 67, died Oct. 25, 1994.
He was born in Martins Ferry, and had lived in Fairlawn since 1956. He was a World War II Navy veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Fairlawn West United Church of Christ and the Summit County Medical Society.
Dr. Hodge is survived by wife, Marilyn; son, Scott, both of Fairlawn; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Legare Davis of Alexandria, Va.; brothers, Dr. Thomas A. Hodge of Los Altos, Calif., and Richard Hodge of Berkeley, Calif.
Memorial service will be held at Fairlawn West United Church of Christ, 2095 W. Market St., Friday at 2 p.m., with Rev. Stephanie L. Haines officiating. There are no calling hours. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, in care of Akron Children's Hospital, One Perkins Square, Akron 44308-1062; or World Wildlife Fund, P.O. Box 96220, Washington, D.C. 20077-7792.(Billow Fairlawn Chapel, 867-4141.)
