Paulow, Larry

Larry J. Paulow, age 61, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday afternoon, September 4, 2012, at his residence, after a long struggle with alcoholism. Born on October 13, 1950, in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, to Daniel and Joan (LeClair) Paulow, Larry was a graduate of Roncalli High School and served in the U.S. Army Reserve. He worked for many years at Tax-Air and was a passionate painter, carpenter, and cook.

Survivors include two children, Ian (Erin) Paulow, Maggie (Mark) Jalcovik, and their mother, Patricia Paulow; grandchildren, Casey and Zachary Paulow, Annabel and Jonathan Jalcovik; his mother, Joan Paulow; siblings, Ken (Carol) Paulow, Jim (Lynn) Paulow, Terry (Patti Hayes) Paulow, Carolyn (Peter) Kordus, and Jeanne Paulow; nieces, Megan Paulow, Lydia and Madelynn Paulow; nephews, Gabe (Jill) Kordus, Matt Kordus, Ben Kordus, and Steven Paulow. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Paulow.

The family would like to thank the staff at Northpoint Medical & Rehabilitation Center for all their special care. Thank you also to special friend Nancy Baumgartner and the residents at Court Tower Apartments for nurturing and enriching his life. A celebration of Larry's life will be held at a later date.
