WINAMAC — Services for Donald D.Girton, 74, of Francesville, will be held at 1 p.m, Tuesday in Frain Mortuary. He died at 8:55 a.m., Saturday, August 3,
2002, in Pulaski Memorial Hospital.

Born June 4,1928, in Buffalo, he was the son of Galen and Sylvia Baker Girton. On Dec. 28, 1974, he was married in Otsego, Mich., to Marge A. Davis, who survives.

Mr. Girton was a lifelong resident of Pulaski County. He had been a mechanic and a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed fishing and he once belonged to the Winamac
Masonic Lodge #262 and was also a member of the South Bend Scottish Rite.

Also surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Pete Budd, Winamac; three sons and daughters-in-law,
Steve and Kris Girton, Tim and Deb Girton,both of Winamac, and Douglas and Dee Girton, Francesville; three stepdaughters, Pam Wadley and her husband Carl, Baldknob, Ark, Deborah Lynn Merchant and her husband Ray, Bloomingdale, Mich., and Penny Saline, Portage, Mich.;
two stepsons, Rich Campbell and his wife, Jan, Parchment, Mich, and Scott Campbell,Portage, Mich.; 20 grandchildren, six greatgrandchildren; one sister and brother-inlaw,
May and Clifford Miller, Royal Center; and one brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Marj Ann Girton, Valparaiso.

Six brothers preceded in death.

Dan Burgess will officiate at the services. Burial will be in McKinley Memorial Gardens, Winamac.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Tuesday in the mortuary.
