Services Set Friday for Mrs. Rhines
Mrs. Susie Rhines, 83, 4 Delaware Street, died at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Perry Nursing home, where she had been a resident two and one half years.
Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Newton chapel with Rev. Tom Kirby, Pastor of the First United Methodist church, officiating. Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Rhines was born August 24,1887, in Shaw, Kansas. On Sept 8, 1908 she was married in Stafford, Kansas to Sam Rhines, who survives. They moved to Perry from Kansas in 1908.
Survivors in addition to her husband of the home are one son, Clyde Rhines, Perry; two daughters, Mrs. Myree Stephens and Mrs. Sammy Bowden, both of Perry; nine grandchildren and one great - grandchild. She was preceded in death by one daughter.
