John Granger, who had been ill for several weeks at his home in this village,died at his home last week Sunday,Dec 24th. Mr.Granger was the son of Joseph and Sarah Granger who came to this country many years ago. He was born in Ontario,Wayne,New York, Oct 17, 1851, and was 71 years of age. He was married to Elizabeth Robins, of Williamson, New York, on Feb 8, 1877. He is survived by his wife and three daughters,Mrs Gertrude Hosie of Walworth, Mrs Mae DeMay of Farmington, Mrs. Ruth Desmidt of Walworth,New York and one son, Harrison Grange of Macedon, New York. The funeral was held from the Friends Church last week thursday at 2 o'clock. Rev. Reuben J. Payne, of West Branch, and Mrs. William Leggett officiated. Interment took place in the North Farmington Friends Cemetery.
