Rodney E. Stone, 44, of Fordland, Mo., went home to be with his Lord on Friday Oct. 15th. Born on Aug. 1, 1960, and a graduate of Rogersville High School, Rodney was the Lamborghini Master Technician for Motor Cars, Inc. He was regarded as one of the top technicians in the world by the Lamborghini factory in Italy, which he visited this summer. An avid outdoorsman, Rodney listened and participated in talk radio 104.1 and recently helped spearhead operation UNMET Needs in Springfield to help spouses of those serving in the military. Survivors include his parents, Lyle and Ruby Stone of Strafford; special friend, Beth Robinson; daughter, Cheyenne Stone of Fair Grove; Michael Stone of the home; stepdaughter, Jennifer Westerman of Ash Grove and her children, CD and Alexia; stepsons, Shane Terrill of Willard and Neil Hyde of Strafford; sister, Bess Elaine Brown and her husband, Dale; and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his second wife, Gwen Stone. Visitation will be this evening, Oct. 19, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Preston-Marsh Funeral Home in Rogersville. Services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Rogersville Baptist Church with burial in Holland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Citizens Bank of Rogersville, 1001 W. Center St., Rogersville, MO.
