Joan Marie Wittick Bortz, 69, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston, IA.

She was born December 13, 1942 in Des Moines, IA to Charles Herman Wittick and Beatrice Skola.

She is survived by a daughter, Cindy (Gary) Housenga of Douglasville, GA; grandsons, Ryan and Adam; aunt Marguerite Wittick; and several cousins.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 15 at 11 a.m., at the Cambridge Municipal Cemetery in Cambridge, IA.
