The body of Elsie Greenleaf, wife of Frank L. Greenleaf; was found in the Juniata River at the middle abutment of the Fourth Street Bridge about nine o'clock this Saturday morning by Harry Brandt and John Dougherty, who were fishing from the bridge. The authorities were notified and Sheriff Corbin with the assistance of several men removed the body from the stream and placed it in the hands of Harry Brown and Sous, undertakers. Mr. and Mrs. Greenleaf were to see a physician last evening and had arranged to go camping next week with a party of friends along the branch where Mr. and Mrs. Greenleaf have a cottage. Mr. Greenleaf went to bed at 12 o'clock and lay dozing until one o'clock, when he fell asleep. He awoke at three o'clock" and noticed that his wife was gone, the pillow having been placed lengthwise in her place. In going out she left the door ajar so as not to disturb anyone in the house. Mrs. Greenleaf was daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Fisher of Saxton.
