Oren "Mike" E. Aber, III of Battle Creek, age 57, died unexpectedly Monday August 27, 2012 at his residence. Mike had a passion for auto racing throughout his life. He raced for many years throughout the Midwest. His enthusiasm was never ending for his love of the sport. Mike is survived by his life partner, Janet Barber; uncle Don (Diane) Aber; aunt, Carole Aber; several cousins and his beloved pet Bubbi. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oren E. Aber, II and Betty "Stephens" Aber. In accordance with his wishes cremations has taken place. A graveside service will be held at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens on Tuesday September 4, 2012 at 11:00a.m. Friends may send condolences or share a memory at baxterfuneral.com.
