David James George, 51, of Broken Bow, passed away March 31, 2012 at his home. He was born March 29, 1961 in El Paso, Texas, the son of Robert and Myrtle Tipton George. David had lived in McCurtain County for the past 8 years, moving here from Tulsa. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a college student. He enjoyed drawing, making jewelry and reading. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Roy George. He leaves to cherish his memory his brothers, Michael George of Lockesburg, AR and Robert E. George, Jr. of Tulsa; sisters, Christine Wigley of Broken Bow, Dorothy Cleaveland of Sand Springs, OK and Betty Willoughby of Tulsa; niece, Vanessa Carter of Broken Bow and a host of other nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home of Broken Bow.
