Mrs. Marit Aubol, who was undoubtedly the oldest citizen in this community, died at her home in the town of Eaton early Sunday morning and was buried on Tuesday afternoon from the West Lutheran church, Rev. E. A. Fretheim officiating.
The deceased who had lived in this community ever since emigrating to this country over 50 years ago, attained the age of more than 90 years. She had made her home on the same farm all these years together with a nephew, Knut Qualley. Another nephew, John Qualley of Liberty and a niece, Mrs. Knut Johnson of Stanley, Wis., are the nearest relatives.

Marie Knudsdatter Kvale was born in Vestre Slidre, Oppland, Norway 17th October, 1841.
She was the daughter of Knud Olsen Kvale and Jorand Knudsdatter.
