Mr. Andrew Johnathan Townsend, age 30, passed into eternal rest Friday, July 21, 2006 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip, Long Island, N.Y., after a long illness. The Ocala, Fla., native lived many years in Huntington, N.Y., attended DeVry Institute and was a welder, plaster and an electric engineer.
Memories are left to be cherished by his children, Johni and Jaaden Townsend, Ocala, Fla., and Camilla Jesse Townsend, Youngstown, Ohio; a devoted friend, Charlotte Pagan; a loving and devoted father and stepmother, Andrew J. (Tearessie) Townsend, Statesboro; four sisters, Sarah T. (Nixon) Williams, Statesboro, Mary T. (Robert) Singleton and Janice T. Robinson, both of Pooler and Vanessa Wilson, Huntington, Long Island, N.Y.; a brother, Clarence Oliver, Wyandanch, Long Island, N.Y.; and a host of aunts, uncles and host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Mr. Andrew Johnathan Townsend will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday in the Ben Samuel Hill Memorial Chapel of Hill's Mortuary, Inc. with Pastor Fredrick Denson officiating. Burial will be in the Eastside Cemetery.
