Mrs. Mina Mae Warstler, age 66, wife of Joseph E. Warstler, a Jackson township farmer living on Rt. 1, Auburn, died at 11:30 p.m. Friday in the Barkley Nursing home in Butler.
Mrs. Warstler died following a lingering illness extending over the past four years. Her death was attributed to a complications of diseases.
The body was removed to the Dilgard & Cline funeral home in Auburn where services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Clinton Moser, pastor of the Auburn Missionary church, assisted by the Rev. John Dicken, pastor of the Rehoboth Methodist church south of Auburn, officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn cemetery near Auburn.
Mrs. Warstler was born Jan. 14, 1894, in DeKalb county, daughter of the late Elmer Walter and Matilda Osburn Walter. The mother resides on Rt. 1, Auburn.
Mrs. Warstler was married to Joseph E. Warstler Nov. 30, 1911.
Surviving, besides the mother and the husband, are two children, Kenneth Warstler of Rt. 2, Auburn, and Mrs. Betty Newcomer of Rt. 1, Spencerville; a sister, Mrs. Grover Walter of Rt. 1, Butler; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A brother, Herbert (Herby) Walter, who resided on Rt. 1, Auburn, died in 1928.
Mrs. Warstler had lived in Jackson township four and one-half miles southeast of Auburn for the past 32 years. She was a member of the Rehoboth church.
