Mrs. Roger Ballou Funeral Wednesday

Funeral services for Mrs. Roger Ballou were held Wednesday, April 7, at 2:00 p.m. in the Glasco United Methodist Church. Rev. Joseph Shillcutt conducted the service.

Beatrice Pearl Ballou, 61, Glasco, died April 4, 1976, in the St. Joseph's Hospital, Concordia, Kans.
She was born at Concordia, Kans., Sept. 29, 1914, a daughter of Clarence and Jessie Irwin.
She was married to Roger Ballou of Glasco on April 15, 1937, at Miltonvale, Kansas.
She was a member of the Methodist Church of Glasco and active in the UMW. She enjoyed her needlework and crocheting.

Her survivors include her husband, Roger, of the home; her mother, Mrs. Jessie Irwin, Topeka; two sisters, Mrs. Bernice Piper and Mrs. Bertha Simpson, and a brother Henry Irwin, all of Topeka; a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Interment was in the Glasco Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Clifford Irwin, Clarence Simpson, Robert L. Graves, Boyd Chapman, Charles McClellan, Ed Brown.
Organist was Virginia Halderson and singer, Ronald King.
Dean Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
