THE TOMB
At Page City, this county, after a sickness of about four weeks, on Wednesday 12th inst., of pneumonia and typhoid fever, Capt. Robert C. Scott, aged 42 years.
Capt. Scott served as a captain in the Confederate army, under Gen. Morgan, during the entire war. He was a brave soldier, a kind husband and a father and a true and generous friend. He was buried in Machpelah cemetery by his Masonic brethren. He leaves a wife and seven children. Peace be with him.
