She was born July 26, 1911, at Auvergene, Ark. She lived in Anderson for 53 years. She was a homemaker and also a retired St. John's Medical Center employee. She was a member of West 14th Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Curtis Agnew Sr.; three daughters, Dorothy Worsely, Wilma K. Easley, amd Althea Wilson, all of Anderson: one son, Curtis Agnew Jr., of New York City, N.Y.; one sister, Lucille Nickson of Philadelphia, Pa; two brothers, Lee Grant Walton of St Louis, Mo., and Omra Walton of Anchorage, Alaska; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one aunt and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday at Anderson Zion Baptist Church, 2008 Louise St., with the Rev James Menifee Sr. officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.
