Son of Joseph William Bloomfield and Olive Parintha Gale Bloomfield.
Passed away while committed to Arizona State Hospital.
Buried in Asylum Cemetery on Arizona State Hospital grounds.

Biographical sketch prepared by Shirley Baxter:
Willie was a quiet, happy child and was loved by all of his family. He loved gardening and especially loved growing flowers. The family described him as being a handsome young man. My Dad, George Milan Bloomfield, said that he remembers the day that Willie was taken away from the family by the State. Grandma Bloomfield was scrubbing the floors in the house they were living in at that time with a lye soap and had asked the children to go outside and play because she did not want them around the lye soap she was using. Dad said that Grandma had locked the door to the house so they could not sneak back into the house until she finished. Dad said that for some reason Willie was upset over something and one of their neighbors passed by the house and reported to the authorities that Willie was throwing one of his fits. Dad called this particular lady a "busy-body who had her nose in every thing". Dad said that after this report that Willie was taken from the family and put in a State Hospital. Dad said that the family used to go visit Willie in the State Hospital until someone at the Hospital told them to never come back. I asked several of Dad's brothers and sisters where Willie was buried at but none of them knew. They all said that after Willie died, they got a letter saying that he had died and had been buried. It was not until after they all died that I found his death certificate on line. I think it possible that his brothers and sisters were unable to talk very much about Willie. I think that he was a very happy and handsome young man.
