LEICESTER - Alexis Sophia Alves, eight month old daughter of Timothy J. and Jessica E. (Barry) Alves, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 7, 2012 surrounded by her loving family.
Alexis was born on January 5, 2012 in Worcester.
In addition to her parents she is survived by one sister, Kayla Barry; two brothers, Sean Alves and Matthew Alves; her maternal grandfather, James Barry of Westborough; her paternal grandparents, Robert and Maureen Alves of Leicester; her maternal great grandparents, Thomas and Frances "Mickie" Barry of Westborough; her maternal great -great grandmother, Blanche Barry of Worcester and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Alexis was predeceased by her grandmother, Cheryl (Sealy) Barry.
The family would like to thank the staff on 5 East at UMass Hospital for their care and compassion.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 12, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in St. Luke's Cemetery.
