DEATHS
Died, in Higginsville, June 14, at 4:30 a.m., at the home of Mr. D.H. Hancock, Mrs. Elizabeth Moran, aged 75 years.

Mrs. Moran, nee Elizabeth Young, was born near Richmond, Madison county, Kentucky, about 75 years ago. Her father, John C. Young, the father of our Mayor John C. Young, and he came to Missouri about 1855 and settled near Dover. A few years before this Elizabeth married John G. Moran and they came with the other members of the family to Missouri. She leaves three daughters, Mrs. John Small, Mrs. Porter and Mrs Dave Hancock, and one son, Barrett. She was a sister of Mayor John C. Young and of Mrs. Jas. R. Green and Mrs. Mary Logan. She joined the Christian church in early childhood and has since lived a consistent Christian life, meeting to the best of her ability and with Christian fortitude, the duties and responsibilities of her position.

To the bereaved relations who mourn her loss, we extend our deepest sympathies and trust that they may realize the parting is only for a few years.
