Travis was a native New Orleanian and a proud World War II U.S. Navy Air Corp Veteran. After military service he worked as a Borden Dairy supervisor for 37 years. In addition to his family, Travis greatly loved gardening, fishing and was a diehard supporter of the Tulane football program. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Funeral services were held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, September 17, 2012. Burial with military honors followed in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
