Parents: Martin (Marcin) & Marianna nee Beyrn, from the village of Polajewo, Obornicki district.
Emigrated from Bremen, Germany abroad the Kronprinzessin (Crown Princess) Cecile arriving in NYC via Ellis Island July 18, 1911.

His first organist position was at St. Hyacinth's Church, Lackawanna. Then he went on to St. Stanislaus Bishop & Martyr Church and on to St. Valentine's Church. October 15, 1911 became the organist & choirmaster of the Holy Mother of the Rosary Polish National Catholic Church. Duties included making the host communicant & Christmas oplatek wafers.
Retired after 52 years of service in 1963.
Died at his 47 Sprenger Street home quietly & unexpectedly while sitting in his chair in the sunporch with his family visiting.

FAMILY HISTORY:
Married at age 26 to 19 year-old Stanislawa (Estelle) Dziarnowska Aug. 24, 1914 @ her parish, St. Adalbert's RC Church/Basilica. They resided at 161 Rother Ave.(Her childhood home), then moved to (rented) 240 Woltz Ave. and then purchasing their own home at 47 Sprenger St. He became naturalized on Sept. 7, 1921.
they had 2 daughters:
Eugena-married to Henry Dombrowski.
their 2 children: Dennis & Sandi (Schmezle) and resided in Reseda, CA.
Irene-married to Joseph Walkowiak (aka "Jimmy Walker").
Their 3 children: Ronald, Diane & Beverly.
Joseph was the owner of Jimmie's Service Station at the corner of Genesee St. & Sprenger Ave. Joseph was a high-ranking Mason and Irene, daughter of the Eastern Star. He was very involved with his son, Ron with Boy Scout Troop 36. 7 great and 3 great-great grandchildren followed.
